classwork/Homework
M: Biology - Holiday Medical Biology - Holiday T: Biology - Today we finished our powerpoint on Mendel and the foundation of genetics (see last week for the PPT). Then we started a new entry where we looked at our corn crops. On this entry you were to make some observations and then speculate on the outcome and reasons behind what we observed. Tonight, being that it is Valentine's day, I want you to have fun with your family and friends, but if you want some extra credit you can read the Valentine's Day article attached at the bottom and on a separate piece of paper do a "One Pager" on it. Oh, hey, did you get your parent input turned in? Medical Biology - As above W: Biology - I am out today due to a funeral I have to attend. No, it is not my own. So what you will do today is simple. Create a new entry titled: Changing Genes. On the right side I want you to divide the page into thirds and take notes on each of these videos. You should be looking for important points in each and when you are done you will need to compare and contrast each using a bulls-eye diagram(the sub will show you the example). Lastly, describe to me WHY you think these things are good or bad for us, and develop a follow up question you have. There is no right answer for this part, but be sure to list your REASONS. I will check all of this tomorrow using Socrative for points!
