IB BIOLOGY:
Hey, I know this year has been bizarre, but there are some cool things coming your way that have never been done before. The drive-through, and the drive-in, parts of your graduation will certainly be celebrations no one will ever forget. On June 3rd at 4pm for period 1 and 5pm for period 2, I will hold a zoom where you can say goodbye to any of your classmates, or me. I'd like to see you one last time before we go to summer, and I bet they would too. Besides, I don't know if I will ever see you again. I will send an email with the zoom links the night before or that morning. You are welcome to pop in to both sessions if you want. So what is happening this week, well, you get to score tons of point! The final project will be presented on the following days and times. Your only job is to Zoom or Meet with me, a few of your favorite people, and to show us what you have. At the end of your presentation I may have a few questions, but I will then send you to a site for you to complete a reflection (will be given at the end of the zoom). That simple. Who will make the connection? You will, because I want you to have the control. When your appointment is ready, please send me your Meet (or Zoom) invitation and I will join you. If you are early, be patient as I may still be with other students. The Schedule: Thursday, May 28th Homicide by Jones and Jenkins at 6am Psychopaths by Francis and Sadik at 9am Elephants by Qiryaqos and Agoth at 10am Butterflies by Hutto at 12 noon Anthropology by Ortiz at 1pm Creatures of the Ocean, by Erickson and Robles at 2pm Friday, May 29th Color Changing Animals by Matushek at 9am Neurobiology and Disorders by Bull, Kyla at11am The Science Behind the Resident Evil Universe by Hernandez, David and Penelope W at 12pm Noon Pandas by Tonsing, Maria and Brian Shen at 1pm Veganism by Sibilia, Caroline at 2pm Can Immortality be Possible in Humans? by Zaki, Mariam at 3pm COVID-19 by Ferman, Yusur and Valerie Perez at 6pm Monday, June 1st Exobiology by Constantino, Hailey at 12pm Noon Aye-Ayes by Ballew, Blake and Diana Goodwin at 1pm Bees by Liu, Karen and Nguyen, Lauren at 2pm Tuesday, June 2nd Do woodpeckers get headaches? by Cahoon, Gwyn and Amber Ruments at 12pm Noon Mutations with fictional monsters such as Godzilla by Marino, Milena and Castro, Alyssa at1pm One more note, if you are still taking care of that extra-credit pet, please know that I will accept your "baby book", but I need a document before the week is out. If you were making a physical one, please send me pictures of the physical book. Just like before, you should have pictures and data on the growth of your organism, but now wrap it up. Graphs of the overall growth for the year would be really good as would charts of behavioral changes over the year. BIOLOGY AND COMMUNITY HEALTH: THIS IS IT!!!! I am so thankful to all of you that have done whatever work you have been able to do. On June 2nd at 10 am for period 3 and 11am for period 5, I will hold a zoom where you can say goodbye to any of your classmates, or me. I'd like to see you one last time before we go to summer. I will send an email with the zoom links the night before or that morning. So what does this week look like, well, SUPER EASY!! I know I was suppose to post this on Thursday because of the holiday on Monday, but I posted on Wednesday so you can get a head start if you want to. You only need to review your work and some work from other students. To do this you will need ... The Final Project Rubric: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1gn6CeKF34d2oNLO3UpzK55MibADT1bv-/view?usp=sharing The Google Form Review Sheet: https://forms.gle/6sfPn4nGvtyhVKMfA And the following list of projects are what you can choose from. You first will complete a review form on your own project, and then you can pick any three that you would like to review, and then complete a review form on each. That's it! Hope to see you at the zoom on the 2nd! https://sites.google.com/guhsd.net/sourceforteenpregnancybynaomir/home https://sites.google.com/d/1jw4CdAzeV7nhZezd4D4xYg5TA3BqiqCr/p/1K8s59HcYTqh6zK9vmBMsQsKGm5QUL5Zm/edit https://sites.google.com/guhsd.net/biology-final-project/home https://sites.google.com/guhsd.net/biology-final-project/the-information https://sites.google.com/guhsd.net/postpartum-depression-camerina/ppd-discusssion https://sites.google.com/guhsd.net/autism-public-health/home https://sites.google.com/guhsd.net/bipolar-disorder/data-and-charts https://sites.google.com/guhsd.net/gracesprecco-biofinal/effects-on-smoking-and-vaping https://sites.google.com/view/graciesprecco-biology-final/videos https://nervoussdotnet.weebly.com/ https://sites.google.com/guhsd.net/teenpregnancy-chaneljibro/home https://sites.google.com/guhsd.net/chronicstressinformation/what-is-chronic-stress https://sites.google.com/guhsd.net/publichealthjuarez/home https://sites.google.com/guhsd.net/kamahi/home https://sites.google.com/guhsd.net/helping-people-with-autism/home https://sites.google.com/guhsd.net/866/criteria-a https://sites.google.com/view/madison-lavers-biology-and-com/home https://sites.google.com/guhsd.net/honors-bio-mental-disorders/schizophrenia https://sites.google.com/guhsd.net/anxiety-disorders/what-can-i-do https://sites.google.com/guhsd.net/rmoore2/home https://sites.google.com/guhsd.net/anxiety-kayleerobinson/home https://sites.google.com/d/1E9RTdi1y26EHfpRuP3UkaqpfIUWXPkK-/p/1M-_PLW4mVfDMLablHsIi6knUaFozBvOo/edit https://sites.google.com/guhsd.net/caseybiop5slojkowskifinal/home https://sites.google.com/guhsd.net/gracesprecco-biofinal/home https://sites.google.com/guhsd.net/smokingisbad/home https://sites.google.com/view/madilynnvance/home https://sites.google.com/guhsd.net/adhd-mental-illness/home https://colinrileybiology.weebly.com https://sites.google.com/guhsd.net/pulmonarystenosis/home https://sites.google.com/guhsd.net/kershaw-technology-addiction/home https://sites.google.com/guhsd.net/mental-health/home https://sites.google.com/guhsd.net/biology-final-project-smoking/home https://sites.google.com/view/amandasbiowebsite/home https://sites.google.com/guhsd.net/huntingtons-disease/home https://sites.google.com/guhsd.net/izzys-community-health-project/home https://sites.google.com/d/189_z2Ft_jCH4Uoq3GrzzVV637tPWkf1O/p/1gG7loLOQjcv2wyNNT5clIM-4CuDnQCzv/edit https://sites.google.com/guhsd.net/healthcareinfectionsbyirmabrav/home https://sites.google.com/guhsd.net/communityhealthproject/home https://sites.google.com/guhsd.net/semester-two-biology-project/how-the-environment-can-affect-the-body https://sites.google.com/guhsd.net/communityhealthproject-/home https://sites.google.com/guhsd.net/kellyccommunityhealthproject/home https://sites.google.com/guhsd.net/kellyccommunityhealthproject/home https://sites.google.com/guhsd.net/our-environment/our-health-and-our-environment https://sites.google.com/d/1aEMgwyKbl2fKwl_E-l5sBWMyfaJYUEne/p/1YsuCyrT99xnm00eblilxZfqJ41tQmPBh/edit https://sites.google.com/guhsd.net/helenrcommunityhealthproject/about-diabetes https://sites.google.com/guhsd.net/community-health-issue/home https://sites.google.com/guhsd.net/heartdisease/home https://sites.google.com/guhsd.net/communityhealthissue/home https://sites.google.com/guhsd.net/esmeralda-teen-pregnancy/home?authuser=0 https://sites.google.com/guhsd.net/mentalhealthissues-daphnelane/home https://sites.google.com/view/communityhealthproject-armyabo/home?authuser=1 https://sites.google.com/guhsd.net/obesitywebsitecommunityhealth/all-about-obesity https://sites.google.com/guhsd.net/heartdiseaseandstrokecommunity/home https://sites.google.com/guhsd.net/climate-change-final/home https://sites.google.com/d/1s6g_P1HgM9pmA97CdRbbQINV1d-DGzN1/p/1aEWLJVLq82ZzTcZERI8emeJLX4X1znVE/edit https://gracemowrey.weebly.com/ https://sites.google.com/guhsd.net/nayely-ponce-final-project/home https://sites.google.com/guhsd.net/chloe-morgan-biology-project/home
